Harvest for Hunger

Have Faith, Stop Hunger

Harvest For Hunger runs each year from just after Thanksgiving until the end of December and all proceeds go directly to those in need right here in our community. Our campaign includes a telethon on WBNG, a mailing campaign and social media awareness push. Any support you can provide either directly (by making a donation), or indirectly (by helping spread the word), is much appreciated.

In Broome County, 1 in 8 people don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Together, as a community, we have the power to change this statistic.

While our vast number of programs are working to help individuals break out of poverty, our food pantries are also helping to provide over 600,000 meals to individuals in need.

We need your help to keep our food pantries full, particularly in the coldest part of winter – after the holidays when donations typically dwindle, but when the need for food and other support is usually at its peak.

Compassion and quality set the standard for the extraordinary diversity of services that we offer as we continually strive to be responsive to the community that we serve.

With the generosity of our donors and friends, we can ensure that the good work and critical services we offer continue and strengthen those most in need. This appeal will help us to continue the important work that we do for the people in our community.
