Community Health Services – ACT Team

 Grade  9   Salary:  $22.05-$24.82 per hour                         FLSA  Non-Exempt

 

I. Qualifications 

A.              Education

1.               Bachelor’s degree preferred

2.               AAS degree in Business field required

3.               Three years’ office-related experience required

 

B.              Skills

1.               Experience with the use of Electronic Health Records and creating reports and tracking data.

2.               Strong computer skills; familiar with data programs, Microsoft Office and Excel.

3.               Excellent organizational skills.

4.               Ability to function as key contact person within a team environment.

5.               Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6.               Ability to multi task and prioritize work load as needed.

7.               Able to operate multi-line telephone system and general office equipment.

8.               Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand and climb stairs

9.               Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NYS

II.        RESPONSIBLE TO:  CHS Administrative Manager

III. Major Functions 

1.               Coordinate day to day and overall operations of ACT Team members and staff.

2.               Input data and work with a variety of electronic information systems including Clinic Tracker.

3.               Track and analyze data as needed

4.               Conduct monthly billing in a timely manner.

5.               Create required data reports derived from EHR or other OMH or agency systems.

6.               Provide front line contact with ACT Team clients, providers, managed care plans and community resources.

7.               Interact with ACT Team clients and community in providing information, training and assistance.

8.               Conduct/oversee pre-billing audits and coordinate with agency billing staff, accounting and administration on reconciling billing.

9.               Provide input in the development of related program policies and procedures.

10.            Provide backup for administrative support staff.

11.            Participate in staff meetings and training activities.

12.            Participate in committees as requested.

13.            Perform other job-related tasks requested by supervisor.
